Unlocking Human Potential, Experiential storytelling and interaction design to bring a bold vision to life

Challenge

CapCo, drawing on 25 years of academic research, envisioned a future where careers are shaped by individual potential, not rigid job descriptions.

The challenge was to translate this ambitious vision into a concept prototype: one that was emotionally resonant, highly interactive, and visually symbolic of CapCo’s mission to unlock human capabilities in an AI-enabled future.

Approach

We undertook a collaborative 13-week journey from insight gathering to prototype delivery focused on transforming research into a human-centred experience.

 

  • Capturing the Essence: Conducted stakeholder interviews and synthesised research into a clear articulation of CapCo’s “why,” “what,” and “how”
  • Future Visioning: Facilitated a visioning session to define guiding principles for interaction and design with AI in a humane, personal context
  • Prototyping: Built wireframes and an interactive prototype that embodied the brand’s future-state vision, with ‘Flo’, a digital assistant to guide users
  • Visual Language: Developed a visual identity system using generative monograms to symbolise key traits and mindsets within the CapCo framework.

Outcome

We delivered a high-fidelity experience prototype, narrative assets, and a walkthrough video to bring CapCo’s strategic vision to life.

 

  • Created a speculative user journey aligned with the future of work and self-discovery.
  • Delivered a visually distinctive platform anchored in modular, symbolic branding.
  • Produced editable artefacts and prototypes for internal alignment and further iteration.
  • Enabled CapCo to communicate its refined value proposition and unlock new innovation pathways.

 

The work served as a foundation for experience-led storytelling, empowering CapCo to advance its mission in shaping the workforce of tomorrow.

Identifying current challenges and insights, envisioning future experiences,and engaging in prototyping and iteration are essential steps in the design process.

To enhance the prototype further, I developed a distinctive visual identity for the platform, incorporating monograms that symbolise both the individual and the combinations of human capabilities.

 

The icons above are monograms that represent both the individual and the combinations of human capabilities.

The above image shows examples of Personas, which are combinations of the monograms created by Flo for the user.

Created Flo, the AI assistant which acts as a partner in users’ self-discovery and development journeys.

Flo is a supportive partner, The assigned personas are functional tools to guide the learning journey.
