Sparking a movement for better health

Challenge

The Australian Government sought to enhance digital health systems to enable seamless sharing of patient information nationwide. This ambitious project required a cohesive visual identity to support a national initiative to improve healthcare data interoperability.

Approach

I collaborated with stakeholders to develop an exciting brand for the program. Our process included exploring visual styles and creating design assets that conveyed the program's goals and ambitions.

Outcome

The final branding captures the essence of connected, personalised healthcare and supports the program's vision for data interoperability. The design resonated with stakeholders and provides a strong visual foundation to build awareness of the initiative. The visual identity has been implemented across multiple touch points including events, outreach programs, and merchandise.

The logo was inspired by two themes, movement and connectivity. We chose to show movement as Sparked is the beginning of something new, moving forward toward better health standards.

 

The strength of the logo lies in its subtle representation of Australia's eight States and Territories, where rectangles converge to form a spark, celebrating diversity while showcasing the strength of unity.
